AVALANCHE! As we hiked into the valley, we could hear constant roaring noises that sounded like jets making quick passes. We thought they could be avalanches, but they happened so often we didn't think it was possible at first. We joked that we hoped it wasn't the grizzly bear's roar echoing off the valley walls. As we got deeper into the valley, we were able to see that our original guess was correct. While we were hiking in the valley, we saw no less than 30 avalanches. |
