LAKE LOUISE
Lake Louise is one of the premier attractions in the Canadian Rockies. The village caters to tourists and the Chateau Lake Louise is a world renouned hotel providing top notch accomodations to those who want to pay the price.

The village area and immediate lakeshore are pretty crowded with tourists, but you can gain solice on the trails. Putting a few miles between yourself and the parking lots does wonders for thinning out the crouds.

MORAINE LAKE
We also took a side trip to Moraine Lake. While I slept by the shore of the lake, Sara took a jog up to Sentinal Pass (8,566') and back. The hike is 7 miles round trip with 2,400' of elevation gain. She did it round trip in 2 hours flat. Did I tell you she is training for a marathon....
