Date Hiked: 7/8/07

Conditions: Dry trail conditions, no significant blowdowns. I parked at the Gould trailhead on West Mountain Rd. and took the side trail early on over to Cheshire Harbor for my ascent; there are numerous side trails in this portion which were confusin, so be sure to stick to the blue blazes.

Special Required Equipment: None (not even bug spray).

Comments: With the auto road and lodge closed, the meadows were covered with wildflowers. If you haven't hiked Greylock in a while, now is the time to do it with all the auto tourists gone.
