Date Hiked: July 14, 2007

Conditions: Trail in great shape, some areas of vegetation a bit overgrown but expected due to the rainy weather several days a week. Otherwise no real issues along the Thunderbolt and A.T.

Special Required Equipment: Hiking poles are nice to have on the descent.

Comments: MAKE SURE TO BRING LOTS OF WATER--THE WATER SPIGOT ON THE SUMMIT HAS BEEN TURNED OFF DUE TO BASCOM LODGE BEING CLOSED! No real good places to get water on the trail )with purifier or tablets) with the exception of the brook 2 minutes up from the trailhead.
