Date Hiked: Oct. 21

Conditions: This "trail" was relatively dry with loose rock and a few wet spots on exposed bedrock. Incredible weather made for a short pleasant hike with the 3 kids ages 12, 8 and 5. Midstate down was easy going and somewhat crowded.

Special Required Equipment: None really. I had a hiking staff.

Comments: Had a nice lunch on top. There were at least 20 people there but the views were fantastic; Wachusett, Greylock, Monadnock and the Boston skyline. Nice short hike for kids.
