Date Hiked: 6/2/07

Conditions: Going up West Baldpate had a lot of slippery sections of wet rocks. There were a few blowdowns that still need trail work, including on the spur trail to Baldpate lean-to, but nothing too difficult to navigate.

Special Required Equipment: None. Grippy shoes for slick rock could help.

Comments: Thunderstorms held off and it only sprinkled a couple times on the way back to the car. The open ledges on Baldpate were impressive and fun to climb. Saw lots of people on the trail for the first time in a while. On the ride home I found a lovely leprechaun at the end of a rainbow!
