Date Hiked: Aug. 27, 2007

Conditions: Steve(Hiker) and I followed the "jeep road/boundary swath" route described in useful detail by buckyball1 in his 9/24/06 Trip Report. The jeep road has a little mud at the bottom, otherwise in fine shape.

Special Required Equipment: Chemin de la Grive was rather rough - a high-clearance vehicle is a good idea but careful driving is probably good enough.

Comments: The hike is no more than 4 miles and easy - c. 1,350 feet vertical gain, including a couple of little ups-and-downs on the swath. Had there been decent visibility, we would have added nearby Mont Gosford, with its tower and views.

The canister included signatures (all July 1) of albee, John Swanson and Kevin Tilton, and probably other VFTT'ers.
