Conditions: Trail is dry, easy crossing of Hurd Brook. Some blowdowns that are easy to step over on this 6 mile section of the A.T. Very nice woods walk with really great views of Katahdin, JoMary Mt., Big Spencer Mt., and White Cap Range.

Comments: Saw 7 north bound thru hikers who will be finishing their hike on Katahdin on Sunday. Congratulations to all. Thanks to The Nature Conservancy this area is protected and will remain a truly wild area for people to enjoy the natural world.
