Date Hiked: 9/8/07

Conditions: Trail in good condition. A few step over blowdowns. Lower fork of Nesowadnehunk Stream difficult to cross.

Special Required Equipment: Hot and Humid. Brought 3 liters of water and finished it all.

Comments: Met 8 northbound thru hikers who will finish on Katahdin on 9/9/07. Congratulations to all the class of '07. Beautiful walk along the West Branch of the Penobscot River and Nesowadnehunk Stream for practically all 6.6 miles to Toll Dam that was my turnaround point time wise. Took plenty of rest breaks along the way due to the heat and humidity as well as the cool and scenic spots along the trail.
