Conditions: wet and leave covered down below..lots of steps as well..pretty easy going however with some nice non slippery ledge up above

Special Required Equipment: dry clothes at the summit were enjoyed by all..grippy boots and pole

Comments: Eventually this season we would hgike in the rain and today was the day..foggy with light drizzle from the notch..bright yellows and contrasting green leaves made for a beautiful ascent to the upper eyebrow section which we bypassed due to the conditions.. a few rougher spots above those ledges but pretty easy going really..several knobs..6 in all along the ridge with ups and downsnot mentioned in guide book but none severe..I suspect this is a fine hike on a good day with excellent gorge down below and frequent viewpoints up above..we didn't tarry at the summit..50 foot visibiltiy..pictures barely came out..tower a little scarey looking with single rung ladder...no steps..great fast paced day with Over the Hill Hikers..Grumpy Gran...Silent Sam..Native Lady..the foliage was excellent despite the clouds
