Trail: White Horse Ledge via Bryce Path & White Horse Ledge Trail

Date Hiked: 11/14/07

Conditions: A beautiful fall day in the mountains. Trails are well maintained but covered in a thick layer of leaves. Some ice begining to form on the rocks.

Special Required Equipment: I'm not one for using hiking poles but with the thick carpet of leaves on the trail poles would of been handy on the desent. In some areas the leaves were boot top deep and we were twisting ankles on covered rocks and "slippen & sliden" on steeper downhills. Even our 4 legged hiking buddy was having a go of it.

Comments: We saw a number of rock climbers on the face of White Horse Ledge going for it. One of those exceptional November days that we occasionally get. A great short hike over looking North Conway, enough to work up a hunger for a good lunch in town. Take A Hike!
