Conditions: Barebooted Edmands to Crawford Path. Top of Edmands was icy. A foot or so of packed snow on Crawford Path. Put on crampons to Eisenhower and kept them on to Monroe. Some drifting snow towards Monroe and Lakes. Very icy on Ammonoosuc. Stayed with crampons until Gem Pool (ish). Gorgeous day, made the hike on the road back to car a bit more bareable.

Special Required Equipment: winter gear. Crampons very helpful, no snowshoes needed.

Comments: Gorgeous day. Must have been high 30's, LOTS of sun and wind from behind. Doesn't get much nicer. Forgot my camera! Great early winter views of Presi's.
