Date Hiked: 11/17/07

Conditions: 6-12 inches of fresh powder.

Special Required Equipment: I used my snowshoes all day and Joe carried his snowshoes all day. (He bare booted). We both had no problem. A hood was helpful to keep the snow from falling down your back.

Comments: We never made it to the second peak. We bushwacked from Haystack down the back side. Along the brook and then headed left to try and get up, but never found a route through the deadfalls and spruce. We will have to try again soon.
