Trail: Owl's Head by Black Pond, "Brutus Bushwhack", OH Slide,

Date Hiked: 11/17/2007

Conditions: Water crossings (Liberty, Lincoln Brooks) passable, with some effort, and wet boot bottoms. Trees down here and there. Snow: Lincoln to Black Pond Trail 2-3", Black Pond trail to the pond 3-6", Bushwhack 4-8 to Lincoln Brook crossing, above 3500' 8-12" with deeper drifts. Wet and/or muddy spots abound, but nothing too obnoxious.

Special Required Equipment: Bare-booted to the slide. Traction very helpful from slide to summit, and back to the bottom of the slide.

Comments: Full Trip Report tomorrow. #29 for me.
