Date Hiked: 11/17/07

Conditions: From Ethan Pond TH, up Willey, traverse to Field & Tom; down AZ to Zealand Trail, return Ethan Pond Trail. Unbroken (now broken :-)) trail from Ethan Pond/Willey Trail jct to Tom, approx 8 to 10 inches on ridge, snowshoes needed. Some ice on ascent but OK with snowshoes/bareboots. AZ unbroken and approx 6 to 8 inches higher up 4-6 down low. Ethan Pond from Zealand Trail to Zealand Notch unbroken and 6 inches fresh snow. Booted out from Zealand Notch back to Ethan Pond Trailhead, difficult through bog bridge 3 miles.

Special Required Equipment: Snowshoes above 3500, poles helpful.
