Trail: Mt Liberty via Liberty Spring Trail Date Hiked: 11/17/2007 Conditions: 6-8" powder above ~2000' lesser amounts below. The trail is now well packed. Early morning light snow gave way to afternoon melting - lots of flowing water and mud on the trail down low. Special Required Equipment: Stabilicers helpful, but barebootable if you must. Snowshoes not necessary yet.
Comments: It was a beautiful day. No wind worth mentioning, and pleasant temperatures. A low cloud layer limited the views somewhat. Submitted by: evilhanz |
