Date Hiked: 11/23/07

Conditions: Mix of packed snow, thin ice, and mud down low. Upper elevations and between the peaks was all snow. No blowdowns to worry about.

Special Required Equipment: There were some sections that traction control was handy because of the ice covered by a thin layer of snow. Snowshoes not needed, unless you want to carry more weight.

Comments: At around 3900 feet on Waumbek there were some moose tracks that looked quite fresh, I'm glad we didn't get to meet him!
