Trail: Garfield via Garfield Trail Date Hiked: 11/24/07 Conditions: muddy/icy/hard packed snow - be ready for all conditions! Water crossings all involved submerged rocks. Special Required Equipment: I carried but didn't use crampons or snowshoes. You can kind of scout out the dry rocks as you go. Waterproof boots for stream crossings. Comments: Chilly (approx ~10-15F on top), almost calm day. Awesome views in all directions highlighted by deep blue sky. Nice 1" dusting of snow on the branches made it a winter wonderland!!!
