Date Hiked: 11/24/07

Conditions: 3-5 inches of crusty snow. A little more snow above 3,000 feet.

Special Required Equipment: We Barebooted all the way. Poles were sometimes in the way.

Comments: Second attempt at this peak. This time from Haystack road following the "Hayes" route. We stumbled upon the "Herd Path" just below the clearing with the view. (Thanks to the Herd with the saws!!)Easy trek to the summit where we found the canister with no problem. Cinder the trailsniffing dog did a great job.
