Date Hiked: Nov 22-24

Conditions: Frozen slush and thin snow with some swampy areas below treeline. Above trees on Lowes is mostly rock with an inch or two of snow/rime ice; Spur Trail above trees has a few snowfields.

Special Required Equipment: Crampons very very helpful below treeline.

Comments: VERY messy trails with the thaw on the 22nd, then froze on the 23rd. We encountered every possible condition, so care and patience is critical.
