Trail: Pierce, Jackson via Crawford, Webster Cliff and Jackson Branch

Date Hiked: 24-Nov-07

Conditions: packed snow and ice. Webster Cliff trail between Mizpah and Jackson is now well trodden. Difficult ice/rock combinations on the ledges of Jackson's summit cone.

Special Required Equipment: Stabilicers worked for this trip, though a few of the group barebooted it. One ledge on Jackson could use crampons, but it was short and we worked up it without.

Comments: Great day. Slight breeze on Pierce with clouds, but great views from the southern slabs. Fantastic conditions on Jackson as the wind had died, and the clouds had gone.
