Date Hiked: 11/24/07

Conditions: powder drifts, hardpack, ice/snow covered ice, bare rock, running water, mud, few downed trees. Sounds like a normal in between hiking season in the Pres. range.

Special Required Equipment: crampons VERY usefull just below the cabin to randolph junction. POLES- they saved me many time.

Comments: An awsome day to be above treeline. Lite winds and abundent sunshine 8 degrees. many slips and near slips due to snow covered rock and ice
