Conditions: thin ice and snow down below, thicker ice and snow at elevation

Special Required Equipment: Crampons strongly recommended for the climb, stabilicers helpful for the approach. Carried snowshoes (to be safe) and never even considered them

Comments: We climbed East Osceola in stabilicers, we should have changed to crampons as soon as the climb got steep. We saw others do the entire hike in both stabilicers and bareboots, but I wouldn't recommend either.
