Conditions: Water crossings were ok with traction. Followed upstream at the first crossing to where there are three streams and crossed there, then headed straight up to the trail. Not much snow, some ice on Stony Brook. Several icy sections on Carter Moriah, Stabilicers or other traction at the least.

Special Required Equipment: Traction, poles. Crampons may help in a few section, we bushwhacked around some ice. It's winter up high, time to gear up. Snowshoes not necessary yet.
