Date Hiked: 10-9-2005

Conditions: I arrived yesterday with full backpack at the Denning trailhead to Table, Lone & Rocky. A sign was posted: Bridge Out! I spoke to a local hunter who said the Saturday torrential rain had destroyed the hiking bridge. No way to cross the Neversink. He had done it in hip boots in calmer water, but even then it was up to his hips. Can you ask other club members how long it will take to get a new bridge? Is this kind of thing a DEC action item that gets acted on right away, or will it be like this for 6 months?
