Date Hiked: 10/21/07

Conditions: Trail from Loj to Marcy Dam had a few wet spots here and there, same with Avalanche Pass. Lots of water coming off the mountain on the trail up Iroquois/Algonquin from Lake Colden. But the most water was found on the trail out to Boundary Peak and Iroquois Peak, many mudpuddles and mudlakes. I had seen photos of the ice that was on these mountains last weekend, but it is all gone now.

Special Required Equipment: Waterproof boots, gaitors, windbreaker.

Comments: A beautiful day of clear blue skies and unseasonable warmth, with strong winds at the top. Outstanding views in all directions.
