Date Hiked: 10/26/07

Conditions: Started the trail about 5:30 AM with flashlights. Finished about 6:15 PM. Trail well marked from Upper Works until about 3 miles from summit of Allen. Trail gets a bit more difficult to follow what with the leaves covering up the trail. Climb of Allen wet, slippery and challenging. Great view available if you go another 30 feet from east of the summit. There is no cell phone coverage to be had from the summit of this mountain. #41 and counting.

Special Required Equipment: Gators, early start, hiking poles only useful up to falls.
