Date Hiked: 10/28/2007

Conditions: Some mud, water running down the parts of the trails that are old abandoned roads. Some smallish downed trees across unmarked trail to Graham, but fairly well cleared. Balsam Lake fire tower is in great shape.

Special Required Equipment: No special equipment needed beyond the usual for late October...

Comments: Nice and cool -- FINALLY! High about 40 degrees F. We even got a little frozen rain in nice, white pellets. Nice sun-peeking-thru-the-clouds sort of day. Windy on the summits. Nice views all day. Beaver Kill was quite high. Must've been a lot of rain on Saturday!
