Date Hiked: 11/04/07

Conditions: Hike from Heart Lake via Indian Pass trail then hund a left up Iroguois pass then summitted Marshall, returned via Herbert Book trail and Avalanche Pass. Started hike about 8:00 and finished at 7:15 PM.

Special Required Equipment: Plenty of water along hike route. Carried one one liter nelgen and a water filter. Poles very useful - except for part of hike involving the summitting of Marshall. Gators mandatory. I wore safety glasses on Marshall, Snow Packer didn't and wound up with a bloody welt between his eyes.

Comments: This has to be in the top 5 hikes I've done in the Adirondacks. Some ice but no trackion devices needed. Trail a bit muddy in places - but what else is new? #42 for me.
