Trail: Sleeping Beauty Mountain Date Hiked: November 7 2007 Conditions: Very wet, muddy, slick, a few downed trees. Special Required Equipment: Gaiters and a hiking stick would be a good idea. Comments: The woods are very wet from recent rains. A lot of the ascending trail was basically hiking in a flowing water stream bed. Light dusting of snow near the summit. Be careful, rocks are slippery. Road to Dacy Clearing is still open for car travel to the trailhead. Submitted by: StuBiscuit |
