Date Hiked: 11/9/07

Conditions: Starts as light dusting of snow overly mostly exposed dirt. Turns to patches of ice and thin snow 1/2 the way up. What was wet and mushy at 1pm turned to slippery ice by 4pm. No snow and minimal ice on Cascade summit.

Special Required Equipment: Stablizers great, yak tracks will work crampons are overkill.

Comments: fell into a snow drift up to my knees on bottom right side of Cascade, before the big rock summit. Very deep and very unexpected
