Trail: Whiteface Date Hiked: 11/10/2007 Conditions: First part of the trail , from the reservoir to the ASRC jonction has almost no snow. From there to the road we had a few icy patches and 2" of snow. After the road we had snow from 1/2" to 8-10". Special Required Equipment: We carried crampons and Stabilicers but didn't use them on our way up. But we decided to used our Stabilicers on our way back down, it was not necessary. Comments: Views were awesome today! The sky was blue all day, a wonderfull day,no strong wind to. Was not so cold but with warm clothes it was ok. Submitted by: Yvon |
