Date Hiked: 11/11/2007

Conditions: Brothers were a breeze, minimal snow and ice till after 3rd brother, then all snow to junction with big slide. Big slide proved to be a sporting ascent, icy, but fun. Summit was bare, no wind. On the downclimb did some sliding, once lower, the stream crossings needed a little navigation, and the return trail to garden was fine.

Special Required Equipment: Barebooted the whole thing. Saw one guy with crampons, seemed like overkill though. Poles useful, yaktrax probably helpful for last part of big slide.

Comments: Another great day to finish off the weekend. Hiked in softshell pants and a baselayer top until reaching the last part of big slide. Nice, sunny and warm on the brothers.
