Date Hiked: 11/12-11/13

Conditions: Some icy spots coming up Algonquin from Adirondack Loj on 11/12. Less ice at higher elevations, powdery snow instead. Well-packed trail near summit. Easy descent to Lake Colton on the other side. Ascent up South face of Marcy on 11/13, trail conditions good, a little ice but no need for crampons. Quite a bit of ice descending the North face, crampons were helpful.
