Trail: Santanoni and Panther via herd paths (more like bushwacking)

Date Hiked: 11/17

Conditions: A few inches of light powdery snow at the botton, up to around 12-18 inches for most of the hike.

Special Required Equipment: Compass, map and the usual winter gear. Snowshoes and crampons not needed.

Comments: Without a guide or knowledge of the area and its herd paths, they would have been very tough if not impossible to find. Otherwise, it was a beautiful but long and tiring hike. In at 6:30am, out at 5:15pm.
