Conditions: Hard packed snow/mud/ice

Special Required Equipment: stabilicers or crampons/hiking poles

Comments: Trail hardpacked snow up to Marcy Dam...snow and mud mostly up to the herdpath to Tabletop. Stabilicers or crampons for herdpath - very icy. Hikers ascending used crampons - we did fine using stabilicers.
