Date Hiked: 4/23/07

Conditions: Wet; wet snow. Old road to bridge crossing Binney Brook barebootable. Then the trail (marked by blue diamonds) is 1 - 1 1/2 feet deep in white mush.

Special Required Equipment: I chose crampons to give more purchase through the glop, but snowshoes might be better. I found myself breaking through areas where running water undercut the snow.

Comments: Slow trudge up the trail, but I added icy snow to the water bottles for cooling relief in 80 degree weather!
