Conditions: trails in perfect conditions not that much water in the streams

Special Required Equipment: poles very useful wind jacket for the summit

Comments: what a loop!! we starsted the hike from rte 108 using long trail north to sterling pond shelter down sterling pond trail down to the notch then hell brook trail to hell brook cut off to taft lodge. after a few minutes break we climbed profanity then the ridge until the forehead where we took south link and finaly haselton trail. the 7minutes hike back to the car on rte08 was a real massage for the legs. the weather was perfect for this type of effort
