Trail: Mendon Peak, Eddy Brook

Date Hiked: 04-Jul-07

Conditions: Followed old road up past the steep climb, to the second cairn. The road is in good shape, brook crossings relatively easy (even without poles). The bushwack to the col and then to the summits is quite open, with only a few fallen trees to deal with.

Special Required Equipment: Compass, and a sense of adventure.

Comments: The second cairn is easy to miss (it is small and off to the right side of the road), so follow the road up past two switchbacks, until the grade starts to lessen. Strike out uphill at any point once the grade off the road looks doable.
