Conditions: Excellent - dry, soft footbed.

Special Required Equipment: Poles are always good.

Comments: Many thanks to Ron and Ann of the Mountain Goat for transporting us to the trailhead. A firt-rate hiking outfitter! We stopped in for advice on how to get transportation from rtes 11+30 to Kelley Stand Rd in the morning. Our hike woiuld be Sunday morning - He arranged it - and I don't think we paid anywhere near what it's worth.

Ron knows his equipment, is tremendously supportive of hikers. A great operation - right on Main Street (rte 7A) in Manchester Ctr.

We bought a small amount of equipment, but will return for more. Many thanks
