Date Hiked: 10/10/07

Conditions: Slick and wet from recent rains. Skyline trail has many wet areas and boggy pits. A few blowdowns. Hogback and Skyline both have some brief steep areas that are getting badly eroded.

Special Required Equipment: Whatever you favor for getting muddy in

Comments: Nice area with great views from a lookout south of the junction of Hogback and Skyline and also from the summit of Worcester. Plenty of wildlife - saw snowshoe hares, grouse, and a great horned owl.
Skyline needs some water bars and drainage work or it will be eroded badly in a few years.
